2. DATE AND PLACE
May 30, 2026 (Saturday), Warsaw Sports Hall: OSiR Włochy, Gładka18 street (Google MAPS)
The hall is located 10 minutes from the Warsaw airport – Chopin Airport.
3. APPLICATIONS
Applications through the kumitetechnology system, open from April 5tt to April 1st (Thursday) by 23:59.
Tournament is open to all respected Karate Organizationss. All fights will take place under Polish Full Contact Ashihara Karate rules LINK to rules
4. SCHEDULE
29th May
- 18:00 – 21:00 Verification of fighters (weight and documents control) at the sports Hall.
30th May:
- 8:00 – 10:00 Verification of fighters (weight and documents control)
- 10:00 – 10:30 Referees meeting
- 11:00 Official opening ceremony
- 11:30 Kumite tournaments starts
- 16:00-17:00 End of the tournament (ending time will ultimately depend on the number of competitors) The awards ceremonies for competitors will take place continuously throughout the tournament.
5. CATEGORIES:
- All age categories are based on year of birth, only those born in 2008 must be under 18 on the day of the tournament.
- During verification, each competitor should be weighed in KarateGI with a belt, then such a competitor has a tolerance of +1 kg.
- If a competitor weighs himself with his clothes on (e.g. only underwear), there is no weight tolerance.
- There will be no weight difrence in the final fights.
6. PROTECTORS
The organizer provides helmets and hogo (chest protectors).
7. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Teams consisting of any number of competitors from invited clubs can take part in the competition, regardless of the organization, however, the organizer reserves the right to prevent the participation of a club or competitor without giving reasons.
The entry fee for all cageogries under 18 is 30 euro / person. for all seniors category 40 euro / person. Payable by the coach for all competitors on the day of tournament.
During verification, competitors must have with them:
- Identity document with a photo stating the age of the competitor (exact date of birth).
- Set of mandatory personal protectors for a given category.
- Written consent of parents or legal guardians to participate in the tournament, containing a declaration of acceptance of the competition regulations, possession by the participant of valid tests confirming the ability to practice karate issued in accordance with applicable regulations and consent to reproduce the image according to the attached template. - Competitors from outside the Poland must also have an insurance policy covering the costs of possible treatment in Poland, covering injuries resulting from taking part in karate competitions.
Each team is obliged to provide a referee who should have a complete referee’s uniform (white shirt with short sleeves, red tie, black trousers and whistle). The tournament will be played on 4 tatami, so additional persons capable of judging are welcome. All registered judges in the KT system will receive refreshments and a tournament T-shirt.
8. ORGANIZATION OF COMPETITIONS
Fights are held in a cup system (knockout system.) In the case of three competitors in a category, the fights will be played in a round robin system
- If there are fewer than three competitors in a category, the category may be merged with another category.
- There will be fights for 3RD PLACE in each category.
- The organizer reserves the right to change the division into weight and age categories, therefore, in the applications, the competitor’s weight must be provided with an accuracy of 1 kg.

9. AWARDS
In all categories U18 For places 1, 2 and 3. competitors will receive cups and diplomas. There will be fights for 3 places., 4th place will receive diploma.
In Seniors Men and Women’s, categories, in addition to cup and diploma, sponsors have provided cash prizes: 1st place: 200 Euro, 2nd place: 100 Euro, 3rd place: 50 Euro
10. INSURANCE
The organizers do not provide accident insurance. The obligation to insure the fighter rests with the clubs reporting fighters.
11. FINAL PROVISIONS
- In special cases, the Main Judge of the competition may order additional extra time or a re-voting of the verdict by the judging panel.
- In matters not covered by the announcement or Ashihara Karate Kumite Rules regulations, the organizer decides.
- A competitor who does not appear ready to fight (wearing a set of personal protective equipment) within 1 minute of being announced by the announcer may be disqualified by the mat referee’s decision.
- The organizer reserves the right to change the division into weight and age categories, therefore, in the applications, the competitor’s weight must be provided with an accuracy of 1 kg.
